Chapters
Nine Chapters
A book found in the Huangshang Ruins tied twenty-three fates together.
The Yellow Robe Codex
On the outskirts of Hangzhou, deep within the Imperial-blockaded Huangshang Ruins. Mo Xiruo and Tan Xiao break through Imperial guards and discover an ancient codex in the ruins — the Yellow Robe Codex. It records the long-lost Chimei Yin Finger, and clues pointing to the descendants of Huayue Manor. A storm engulfing the entire martial world begins here.
Playable: Mo Xiruo, Tan Xiao

Crescent Moon Storm
The Chimei Yin Finger recorded in the Yellow Robe Codex resurfaces in the martial world, and the residual internal force in its wounds shocks every master. Dongfang Qi, descendant of Huayue Manor, is drawn into the storm. Joining forces with Yan Feihua and Que Chongyang, he sets out on the trail. The Empire watches from the shadows as a multi-faction struggle over lost martial arts unfolds.
New recruits: Dongfang Qi, Yan Feihua, Que Chongyang

Wind from the West
Strange phenomena on the Yellow Sand road — the massive silhouette of Taowu glimpsed within sandstorms. Forbidden ancient words reveal secrets older than the Empire's invasion. The Yellow Sand tribe's "Mahakala Demon-Subduing Mantra" battle cry is the echo of seals placed a thousand years ago.
New recruit: Sitana

The Frozen Pool
A silent civil war within the century-old sword sect — one half of the pool frozen, the other boiling. A twisted Chimera claws its way out of the cracks — this is no creature of the mortal world. The discovery of Qiongqi's seal at the pool's bottom reveals the deeper cause of the sect's internal strife.
New recruit: Yang Guchen

Carefree Clouds
The reclusive sect atop Kunpeng Mountain. Imperial ley line excavation is reaching the mountain's spiritual veins. Within a hidden cave, a wrathful Mahakala stone statue and a Lingbao Scripture fragment describe the method of maintaining seals with the Qi of the Three Pure Ones — and a third power that is awakening.
New recruits: Yaoqin Jian, Yuan Hua, Moning, Luo Jin, Mo Yinghuai

Plum Manor Sanctuary
A black-robed figure floating above West Lake harvests souls with chains — the first sighting of an Emissary of Death. Mass unnatural deaths have thrown the underworld's order into chaos. Intercepted Imperial documents reveal the third-generation Chimera — a Mana translation of the Kangyur Tantra. The world's order is unraveling.
New recruits: Nie Siling, Nameless Beggar, Guo Ting

Shadow Mountain
Herbal forests burn, sects fall — Taotie's essence leaks, killing all vegetation. Yin Ranyou's corruption comes not from her own dark arts but from Taowu's encroaching aura. The Wrath God manifests — a fog of countless twisted human faces, each screaming silently, a composite of ninety years of oppression. The truth surfaces.
New recruits: Qi Shuang, Lan Jingming, Liu Jingjing, Yin Ranyou

The Bell Tower Trial
Deep in Kunlun, the towering Bell Tower reveals the full scope of Rational Form deconstruction. Dozens of Chimeras are imprisoned in glass vessels. A rift at the center of the formation opens to an indescribable void — a reflection of the Unnameable. Three paths, three destinies are laid before them.
New recruits: Huang Kaizhu, Long Yu, Situ Changsheng

Consilience
Three paths, three destinies. The journey of twenty-three converges here. The codex is shattered, the methods scattered, and the Four Fiends' seals still loosen. But amid the fragments, each person discovers their own "moment of awakening." Where do all paths lead?
All warriors assembled

"Before all paths were born, there was only chaos. After all paths return to silence, it shall be the same."
Philosophy
Four Schools of Thought
Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism, Legalism — four ways of seeing the world. When chaos comes, each lights up some ground and leaves other corners dark.
Confucianism
Investigation of Things · Dongfang Qi
Rationally investigating the principles of all things, seeking the roots of morality. The tradition of pen and sword at Huayue Manor uses "investigation of things to extend knowledge" to uncover the truth behind the Lingbao Scripture, the seals, and the Imperial conspiracy.
Rational investigation can expose the truth, but cannot oppose beings that transcend cognition.
Daoism
Lingbao Scripture · Yaoqin Jian
Maintaining the seals with the Qi of the Three Pure Ones, the transcendent wisdom of Carefree Wandering. The Lingbao Scripture fragment records the three divisions — Cavern of Truth, Cavern of Mystery, Cavern of Spirit — the core method for maintaining the Four Fiends' seals. Yaoqin Jian's "One Breath Transforms Nine Heavens" sword intent resonates with this principle.
Seal maintenance requires continuous infusion of spiritual energy, yet that energy is being drained by the Empire.
Buddhism
Kangyur: Mahakala · Sitana
The Mahakala protector dharma in the Kangyur Tantra — subduing demons through wrathful compassion. The "Mahakala Demon-Subduing Mantra" passed down through generations in the Yellow Sand tribe is the echo of Tibetan Buddhist monks and Daoist immortals jointly sealing the Four Fiends a thousand years ago.
Compassionate wrath can subdue demons, but when facing a source of chaos that transcends good and evil, even wrath itself dissolves.
Legalism
Rational Form Deconstruction · The Imperial Bell Tower
The Empire uses "Rational Forms" to deconstruct the principles of all things, systematically encoding Eastern martial arts into Imperial resources. The Bell Tower Research Institute attempts to load chaotic power into Chimera vessels, creating the ultimate weapon against the Unnameable.
Linear rationality can deconstruct everything known, but cannot define the "undefinable" — the limit of Rational Forms is the starting point of chaos.
The Ancient Seals
The Four Fiends
Shards of chaos. The opposite of order. Daoists and Tibetan Buddhists locked them at the four ends of the earth. That was a thousand years ago.
Taotie
Beast of Greed — the endless devouring of matter and spirit
Sealed at: Upper Yangtze Mountains · Seal loosening
Sealed in the upper Yangtze. Imperial ley line excavation is shaking its prison. Taotie's escaping essence withers vegetation and starves all life — the burning of the herbal forests was the harbinger of its awakening.
Taowu
Beast of Destruction — the pure impulse to destroy
Sealed at: Western Desert borderlands · Shadow sighted
Sealed at the Western Desert border. A massive beast silhouette can be glimpsed within sandstorms. Taowu's essence drives people to uncontrollable rage — Yin Ranyou's corruption was not from her own dark arts, but from Taowu's encroaching aura.
Qiongqi
Beast of Inversion — the confusion of good and evil, right and wrong
Sealed at: Beneath the Xianchi Pool · Seeping influence
Sealed beneath the Xianchi Pool. Its nature is to invert right and wrong, confuse good and evil — the deeper cause of the Xianchi Sword Sect's internal strife is precisely the seeping influence of Qiongqi's seal.
Hundun
Source of Chaos — cognitive collapse, failure of all rules
Sealed at: Kunlun Mountains (beneath the Bell Tower) · Imperial experiments accelerating awakening
Chief among the Four Fiends, sealed deep in Kunlun. The Empire's Bell Tower was built directly atop its seal. Hundun's essence corrodes spell formulas and causes formations to self-destruct — the Bell Tower's forbidden experiments are accelerating its awakening.
And above the Four Fiends, there exists something far more ancient —
The Unnameable
Those who gaze upon it briefly lose their sense of self, as if their soul were stripped away for an instant. It is not an enemy, for the concept of "enemy" holds no meaning to it. It is the ultimate boundary of all methods — Imperial rationality, Eastern martial arts, Buddhist dharma, and Daoist arts all prove equally pale before that void.
Mythology
Mythological Texts
Old texts. Beings that shouldn't exist. They're threaded through every chapter.
Shanhaijing
More than a geographical record — it is a ley line map of the ancient seals. Some of its "monsters" are seal guardians; others are seepage from chaotic fragments.
Lingbao Scripture
The Daoist classic for seal maintenance. Divided into three parts — Cavern of Truth (celestial operations), Cavern of Mystery (seal maintenance rituals), and Cavern of Spirit (spirit communication) — using the Qi of the Three Pure Ones to infuse the seals.
Kangyur
The Tibetan Buddhist canon. Its Tantra records the Mahakala protective dharma for subduing demons — the other half of the power that, together with Daoism, sealed the Four Fiends a thousand years ago.
Mahakala
Not an object of worship, but a cosmic-level force of wrathful compassion — a protector that subdues demons through fury and shields life through mercy.
Chimera
Forbidden creations of the Bell Tower Research Institute. Three generations of evolution: stone golem, living modification, cellular-level Qi-Mana hybrid — the Empire's "ultimate weapon" against the Unnameable.
The Unnameable
Those who gaze upon it briefly lose their sense of self. It is not an enemy, for the concept of "enemy" holds no meaning to it. It is the ultimate boundary of all methods.
